Presently, our experience as Christians involves the blending of two realities. On the one hand we experience joy in Messiah’s coming and his triumph over sin and death, and the Gift of the Holy Spirit now living in our hearts. On the other hand, a deep yearning for Christ to come again with righteousness and justice, in power and glory aches within us. During this retreat we will tend to our experience of grief, longing, mourning and waiting as acts of faith while we live out our days in a fallen, imperfect and corruptible world. Come, Lord Jesus.
